Rain ponchos!

Tired of trying to hold an umbrella over your child while pushing the wheelchair? With a waterproof poncho you won't have to worry about that! These are made with an outer layer of polyurethane laminate, which is the same type of fabric used in modern cloth diapers, and it comes in many great prints! The inner is 1 layer of fleece for a little warmth.  You can pick a PUL print for the outer and a solid color fleece for the inner, or a solid color PUL for the outer and a fleece print for the inner! PUL is considerably more expensive than fleece though, so these ponchos cost more than my standard all-fleece ponchos.

Click here to see the selection of PUL prints.

Solid colors are here.

The main difference with the rain poncho vs the regular winter poncho (aside from the materials used) is how the hood is designed.  In order to keep water from falling down your child's neck, the hood is longer and drapes outside of the poncho.
